Blind Girl Gave a Life-Changing Lesson

In this article, we will tell you the story about a blind girl. The girl loves her friend so much that she does not want to ruin his boyfriend’s life by marrying her as she could not see. She thinks that he deserves someone better, a girl who can see because she will not look beautiful with him. But the boy was so deeply in love with her that he only wants to marry her.

Once there was a girl who hated herself because of the fact that she can’t see anything. But there was a person whom she does not hate and that person was none other than her beloved boyfriend, who is very much caring and loving, despite knowing that the girl he loves is a blind girl.

Her boyfriend who loved her unintentionally proposed to her multiple times. Every time she gave an excuse but this time she said that she will marry him if she could only see the world. Many days pass by and then one day, her boyfriend came to her home and told her that someone is willing to donate her a pair of eyes – now she could see everything, including her boyfriend.

By hearing this, she felt very excited. The next week she had her eye surgery and it was successful. The girl was over the moon because she was blind since birth and saw the world for the first time. She went outside to see the sky and the colorful world.

After this, her boyfriend again asked her, “When I proposed to you earlier, you said that you would marry me only if you see the world. Now you have eyes that can see the world and you are no more a blind girl. Would you marry me now because I love you and wanted to marry you?”

By seeing her boyfriend for the first time, the girl shocked because he was blind too. She looked at him for a few minutes and then refused to marry him by saying that she could not marry someone who cannot see. By hearing this, tears fell from his boyfriend's eyes and he looked at her with shock. He walked away in tears without uttering a single word from his mouth. He came home and cried that whole night.

Later he wrote a letter to his ex-girlfriend consisting of only one line. Though the letter is short, it includes the whole story. The sentence written in the letter is:

JUST TAKE CARE OF MY EYES DEAR

 

After reading the letter, the girlfriend felt sad and wanted to go back to her but there is no use in crying over spilled milk. She tried to call her many times for apologizing but he blocked her number. A thought came into the boy’s mind that maybe the girl realized her mistake and now wanted to marry her.

So he called her and to his surprise, the girl said that she was sorry because she misbehaved her and not because she wanted to marry him. The boy’s heart shattered into pieces and he decided not to call her again or remain in touch with her. He also learned a life-changing lesson. 

Life is very much unpredictable. The person whom we love the most sometimes goes against you and we cannot do anything instead of watching them just like the blind girl who took a turn when she gets what she wants.
